Other Info: We're a female couple (33/35y.o) in a stable relationship, looking for a non active donor. We're both professionals working in Brighton and FlorIda (US). Our interests are varied and we enjoy travelling.

I am a British born Chinese female, speaks fluent English and Cantonese. She is indigenious British Caucasian, born and brought up in Sussex. We would like to have one child each sharing the same sperm donor. We feel that our children should reflect both our heritage (ie, Chinese and English).

We're very keen to stress that we are NOT looking for an active co-parent father. As we feel that should circumstances change (ie. father changes mind and want to actively co-parent) it might not be in the best interest for the child if he/she is stuck in the middle. Health checks and legal contracts will be drawn up to protect both ourselves and the donor. Although in saying that, once the child reaches maturity & should they want to be told who their father is, we'd like the donor to be okay with some occasional contact - as and when the child requires it. We're not thinking of trying for a baby in the immediate future.
