Other Info:
Hi, I'm looking for someone who might be willing to donate for me and am open to discussing whether or how much you want to be involved with the child.
I live in Manhattan and have a terrific job working with developing countries for a global institution. For hobbies, I take dance classes and love hiking. I'm in a great place to care for a child now, with flexible work hours and lots of friends with young children who are eager to help. My family is very supportive, especially my niece who is dying to have a playmate.
My parents have been married for over 50 years and still love going out on their Saturday date night. I have two brothers who are amazing individuals, both married to women who are warm and funny. Our family is very education-focused, with three PhDs, a Rhodes scholar, a neuroscientist, two classical pianists, three polyglots and a few Ivy post-docs among us. We all love to travel, me most of all, so our child would definitely grow up speaking several languages and seeing how people in other countries live. But most of all, he or she would be truly loved by a warm, supportive and happy family.
I'm very open to discussing whatever level of involvement you want to have. If you just want to donate and receive the occasional update, that is fine. If you have another idea of how things could work, just let me know. There are lots of good options and of course things can evolve over time. In all cases, I can take full parenting and financial responsibility and glad to sign papers to that effect. Mainly, I just want the child to have some possibility of knowing who his or her father is at whatever time we all agree is best.
Of course it takes some time for both people to find a connection with the right person, so feel free to respond even if you are still thinking over the idea of donating... I'm glad to talk casually and get to know each other before deciding. Having a child is going to be a great and fun adventure so thanks for considering making that possible for me!
