I decided to try a website like this instead of using a man that I know, or going through a long process of asking and he not being decisive. I would like to start the process of searching now, and be ready in about a year.
I am married to a woman, but we do not have a "lesbian" lifestyles and do not consider ourselves gay. I was a model in my teens and 20s, but I left the industry gradually for school and to start my own software company. My partner played professional soccer and is very athletic, but she is also the smartest person I've ever met and has her the highest degree in her field, which is an MA. I have 3 degrees, but I do not expect our donor to have went through the university process.
My background is Austrian and German. My partner is half-middle Eastern. Even though I'm a model, I think she is even prettier than me ;) Both of us will probably want to use the same sperm donor so that our children are biologically related. This is just an idea, and that is not set in stone.
I personally am looking for either a white or middle eastern male, OR a Korean or Japanese male. I speak Japanese very well and have been wanting to learn Korean. If I chose a Korean male, I would certainly learn the language. There is a lot to say how the situation of having a child with a donor might go. The only things I am inflexible about is that a donor must be willing to sign a donor contract so that I do not have to contend with a custody battle in the future. Depending on his beliefs, the donor could be part of the child's life. It depends on the person.
I see the donor as a part of my future, so I was not planning on just taking your sperm and then forgetting about you. Unless that is what you want. If it works out, I would like to discuss what your expectations are, and if you do want to be involved. If you would like to donate and not be involved, that is also okay.
I am willing to answer questions and talk more to potential donors.
