Other Info: Hi, we are a lesbian couple, who have been together over 4 years and have been married for 18 months, and are looking to start a much longed for family. We live in the countryside with our dog and two cats, and we often have different temporary furry additions that we foster for various animal charities. We love having friends children come over and visit and cannot wait until we are in the same role. Steffi trained as a nurse, but has been diagnosed with a form of arthritis, so is taking time out to concentrate on starting a family before going back to do a masters in occupational health. Bex is a full time carer, and dreams of also becoming a foster parent, although the HSE recommends that potential foster parents finish having their own family before fostering, hence this dream has been temporarily put on hold. Steffi currently has a small designer cake business from home, and we have recently started doing respite with a local organization that helps people with intellectual disabilities which we both really enjoy and get great fulfilment from. We are looking for a sperm donor who wishes for minimal or no contact with the child, although we will certainly send photo's and emails letting the donor know how the child is getting on if they so wish. As Steffi (who will be the childs biological mother) comes from a family of vertically challenged people, we would prefer a taller donor (5'7" or over), but this isn't a priority.
