Other Info: I would like to father a child/children with a woman or couple with whom I can be on friendly terms and have some contact with the child (like a friendly uncle in the case of a couple). I would also like to contribute financially, especially to the child's education. I want to leave a legacy to the next generation.
I do have a baby boy of my own, but his mother appears to be bi-polar; it’s undiagnosed and so she can refuse treatment. A doctor has advised that to avoid my child being caught up in a tug-of-war and being completely messed up, I have to step away until he is about 11 years old.
For this reason I would like to be on friendly terms with the couple/woman who will give birth, and it must be the case that the woman is mentally stable and, in the case of a couple, that there is a good relationship and the partners are mentally and physically healthy. The woman/couple must come from good genetic stock (professional family, no hereditary anomalies). My involvement would not be intrusive; due to my frequent travel, I would visit at most twice a year.
My own genetic stock may be described as follows: Almost all my family members on my father’s side are involved in academia, several of them showing artistic talents. Two cousins of mine are professionally involved in the arts. My own involvement in the arts is more at the level of a hobby (although two of my paintings were purchased by overseas buyers); my own profession involves mathematics and computers with applications in higher education and engineering. We are all in excellent health and have traditional conservative values. My parents exercise regularly and look extremely young for their age; I ice-skate (speed skating + a little bit of ice-hockey) or gym for my exercise.
With regard to my sexual health: within a week of relaxing contraception, my ex-partner conceived; after her miscarriage, she conceived again almost immediately. The baby boy is extremely healthy and was born at a good weight of about 3kg. He is quite a handsome little fellow; of course I have pictures available.
My own situation is that I am enjoying a great deal of success and am fairly wealthy. I have tried to have my own family and failed, but I still want to know I have children out there who are well-cared for and who have all the advantages and resources needed for them to succeed in their endeavors.
