Other Info: I am hoping to meet a known donor that is agreeable to meeting the child when their curiosity starts etc. If I come across a gay male that I believe would make a great co-parent then I would definitely consider it, however if I go down the known donor path I do not want the donor to play any kind of parental role. I will talk to my child from Day 1 about how they were conceived and that there was an incredible man out there that helped me become a mum, a donor that is willing to meet the child later on in life whether it be at 5 years old, 12, 21 etc Also happy to supply photos or catch up for occasional coffees etc if that is something the donor would be interested in. At the moment I have recently moved back to regional Victoria as my family is here and I would like to be close to my mum and family whilst pregnant (especially if doing this solo) but I have full intention of moving back to the city (Melbourne or Brisbane) when the child is a bit older. I have always known I would be a mother one day, I guess I just didn't know how, and after hours, weeks, and months and months on end of research I have decided that I would like to start with at home AI and go from there. I am very maternal and friends have always said I was born to be a 'soccer mum' with mini van in tow. Soccer mum, maybe! but a big no to the mini van LOL I have previously worked as a Nanny and although I loved it, I would love to have my own bub that I never "clock-off" from and enjoy the firsts, the tantrums, the surprises and yes even the sleep deprivation.
