Other Info: I am looking for a sane and sensible woman in the midlands or north east area. A woman who understands a child is not a meal ticket. That maintenance money is for the well being of the child, not spending on Saturday night up town with her friends. In return for this sane and sensible mother I will provide both financially and as a parent. Due to the nature of my job I will not be able to be there 24\7, but I wont be like a ghost either. I believe in quality over quantity and that just being around is not what makes a good parent. I can also provide the child with a top education as the forces offer a hugely reduced rate for us at some of the best schools available.

My reason for being on here is due to my wife being older than me, and her children having flown the nest. She has also been sterilized. This throws a spanner in the works for me becoming a father. Her role will never be mum, but she will support me and she will be a factor in this child's life. she fully understands and supports this.

A little about myself, I enjoy being outdoors, climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding and generally keeping fit. I have quite firm moral principles and cannot abide rudeness, spitefulness, liars and those types that always need to have drama in their lives. life is too short and precious to waste it on rubbish that is just not important.
